On Monday Netflix announced and released the teaser of the much-awaited series; the second season of Kota Factory. The show stars Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Revathi Pillai, and Urvi Sing, Kota Factory Season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on the 24th of September, 2021. It will follow the life of Vaibhav, a young student on his journey to Maheshwari - one of Kota’s leading training institutes, and how he tries to balance his friendships, his relationship with his mentor, and the looming pressure of getting into IIT.
The show's first season which aired in 2019 on The Viral Fever became a hit with viewers. And now after the success of the first season, the series which is built around the trials and tribulations of preparing to get into one of India’s most prestigious institutions is back for a second season - and this time, on Netflix! Speaking about season 2 of the series, Raghav Subbu said, “As a director, I try to create stories that inspire and enthrall audiences throughout. Kota Factory, the first black and white web series of India, revolves around Kota – its students, its people, and its coaching industry. The show depicts this universe through the eyes of Vaibhav, a vulnerable teenager, and Jeetu Bhaiya, a modern-day Dronacharya. The show captures the melancholic life of Indian students who prepare for competitive exams. In this season, will Vaibhav move onto greener pastures, leaving behind Jeetu Bhaiya, his friends, and his love interest?
