Kunal Kemmu hit the headlines a few days ago when he took to his social media to express his disappointment over the snub at Disney+Hotstar live launch event, which was organized to announce the digital release of 7 films. Kunal Kemmu’s film Lootcase was among one of the films that got a digital release, and so far, the release date hadn’t been announced. Now, Lootcase starring Kunal Kemmu, Ranvir Shorey, Gajraj Rao, Rasika Dugal has got a release date and the film will premiere on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar on July 31.

Kunal Kemmu took to his Instagram account to share the new intriguing poster, which revealed the release date as July 31. The poster shows Kunal and Rasika on the run with a suitcase, while we can see Ranvir Shorey, Vijay Raaz towards the bottom of the poster with their guns. Gajraj Rao can be seen smiling with his hands folded, and there are heaps of bank notes spread around. Below the title of the film, the text read, “Iss bag mein kuchh kaala hai.”

Kunal Kemmu expressed his excitement and wrote, “I’m so happy and excited to share this with you guys! I’ve been waiting for this day. We are bringing #Lootcase directly to the safety and comfort of your home :) So you and I have a movie date on the 31st of July See you.”


Other films that will also release on OTT platforms include Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb, Abhishek Bachchan’s The Big Bull, Alia Bhatt starrer Sadak 2, Vidya Balan starrer Shakuntala Devi, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Dil Bachara, among others.
