Finally, the most-anticipated release date of Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmmi Bomb is out. After announcing Laxmmi Bomb’s direct-to-web release on Disney+Hotstar, the official motion poster of Akshay Kumar has been dropped, a few minutes back. Well, not only Laxmmi Bomb but total 7 films had been listed by the OTT platform for a digital release, out of which, Sadak 2, Khuda Hafiz, Dl Bechara, Lootcase and others have already hit the platform. While Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj: The Pride Of India, The Big Bull are up for Disney+Hotstar release.

A while back, Akki took to social media and shared the first glimpses of his upcoming film and it is totally unmissable. The teaser opens with, “When the outcast becomes outrage.” And then the monologue says, “Aaj se tera naam Laxman nahi Laxmmi.” The clip then moves to showing Akshay Kumar’s transformation into a eunuch. Sharing the first glimpses of Laxmmi Bomb on social media, Khiladi Kumar wrote alongside, “Iss Diwali aapke gharon mein “laxmmi” ke saath ek dhamakedar “bomb” bhi aayega. Aa rahi hai #LaxmmiBomb 9th November ko, only on @disneyplushotstarvip!

In Laxmmi Bomb, Akshay Kumar will be seen wearing a saree for his character of a eunuch. Earlier speaking about the same, Akki had said, “In one word, I'd say it's quite graceful and also, the most comfortable outfit in the world. Saree pehna apne aap mein experience tha. Initially, I couldn't walk and kaafi baar while shooting, saree khul bhi jaati thi. Thankfully, my dress dada was always ready for my rescue. But I think one should experience this.”


On the work front, Akki is on roll! The actor is currently in Scotland for Bell Bottom. That apart, Kumar also has Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the pipeline.
