Ludo: Here's How Filmmaker Anurag Basu Got Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh And Others Onboard For Netflix's Film
Anurag Basu’s upcoming Netflix film Ludo is a rollercoaster ride that takes viewers through a series of events and emotions through four divergent journeys. Starring an ensemble cast of Abhishek A. Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rohit Saraf, Pearle Maaney, Pankaj Tripathi, Asha Negi, Shalini Vats and Inayat Verma, the film is the perfect Diwali entertainer from Netflix.

The entire cast and crew of the film was selected with precision so that a visual spectacle befitting of the film could be created. Talking about the casting of Ludo and the army of people behind it, director/writer Anurag Basu said, “Everyone -- from the cast to the crew -- on Ludo was my first choice. I approached each of these actors and all of them said yes. I feel lucky that there was no adjustment to be made. I saw all of these actors and they fit the roles I wrote for them perfectly and it all fell into place. “

Earlier, Anurag Basu had revealed that the leads Rajkummar Rao and others gate crashed a wedding and started dancing in a real baarat to lift up the mood of the crew as the shoot had come to a halt.

Ludo is a story which shows you that you don't meet people by accident, they are meant to cross your paths for a reason. Following the journey of four different lives who meet at a crossroads, Ludo is much more than just a mere coincidence.

The film is set to release on November 12, 2020.
