Mirzapur 2: After Extraction, Priyanshu Painyuli Joins Pankaj Tripathi AKA Kaleen Bhaiya's Web Show
After his action-packed performance in Netflix original Extraction led by Chris Hemsworth, Priyanshu Painyuli will next be seen in Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Zafar’s hit web show, Mirzapur 2
Seems like the second instalment of much-loved web show is going to be a larger than life seasonn as every day we see new actors joining the cast. Well, we are talking about Mirzapur 2. The first season of Mirzapur starred Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi and Shriya Pilgaonkar in the lead roles that went on to be a big hit and now the second instalment will see some new faces making their presence felt.
The latest actor to join the much-loved web show's star cast is Priyanshu Painyuli. After his action-packed performance in Netflix original Extraction led by Chris Hemsworth, Priyanshu will next be seen in Kaleen Bhaiya and Guddu's show. Mirzapur 2 is in its post-production stage and is expected to release on Amazon Prime in December 2020.
Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, "Given the interest around Mirzapur, the team keeps a strict diktat of not letting character details out because it’s important to the show’s narrative. But Priyanshu will be a part of Mirzapur this season. It’s an elaborate character that spills over to Season 3 as well."
"The first season ended with the death of many old characters. So the new season inevitably widens its horizons and explores more tracks and subtracts of the larger narrative. Priyanshu shot for the show last August in Benaras. It’s a cracker of an ensemble cast and the actor can’t wait to speak about it once the final announcement on Season 2 comes in from Amazon," the source ender saying. Well, this gives all Mirzapur fans another reason to go restless. Just can't wait for more.
