Modern Love, Starring Dev Patel, Anne Hathaway Etc. Out Today On Prime Video
Someone famously said that love makes the world go round. The subject of almost every piece of art ever made, Amazon Prime Video’s latest show delves into the incomprehensible subject with a contemporary twist. Modern Love, is based on a famous column in the New York Times where readers wrote in with their love stories. The same column was also the subject of a podcast of the same name.

The show also stars one of the biggest cast line ups we have seen in recent time – Anne Hathaway, Dev Patel, Andrew Scott, Tina Fey, Julia Garner, Andy Garcia are just few of the names. The anthology format of the show reminds us of films like Love Actually, Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve which were all great films that we enjoyed for their pure feel-good factor. Modern Love is from the makers of popular romantic films like Once and Begin Again.

The show promises to go into various aspects of love that exists in various forms. We see couples of different ages and backgrounds and their stories. Whether it is a middle aged couple who seem to have lost their spark, or a love at first sight kind of situation, Modern Love will cover the entire spectrum. Told through eight true stories based on these columns, the show looks like it is going to be a heart-warmer and tear-jerker at the same time.

For all the mushy romantics out there, Modern Love is the antidote to all your problems. We’re going to spend the weekend binging it, what about you?

Modern Love is streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.
