Mr Mehta will now be starring in Never Kiss Your Best Friend web series that will be streaming on Zee 5. As the trailer of the show looks pretty promising, the actress of the show, Anya Singh revealed a pretty interesting insight about Nakuul when he called her ‘heavy.’
During the shoot of their upcoming project Never Kiss Your Best Friend, Nakuul Mehta once called his co-star Anya Singh ‘heavy’ and while speaking to Pinkvilla, the actress revealed her reaction when she received a comment on her weight. She was quoted saying, “The first time we had to have a physical fight, it was on the third day of the shoot. We did not know each other. Nakuul came up and said you are not as light as you look. You are quite heavy. I was like what is this?” Defending himself, he quipped, "I said you are fiesty and now you use the word quite often."
He added, "She looks delicate from the outside but let me tell you that she is a warrior. Once I realised that, I did not give any leniency." He says all their spontaneous scenes were a lot more fun than the ones they rehearsed for. Nakuul says humorously, "I saw Anya through different seasons. There were days she was totally down. When we had spring Anya bloomed on the sets."
Never Kiss Your Best Friend is a ZEE5 Original romantic drama series which revolves around two best friends, Tanie and Sumer, who meet after 5 longs years separation. A heart-warming story that redefines the rules of friendship. The series will air on January 20, 2020.
