Coronavirus invasion around tbe globe is stopping almost every activity where it involves a gathering of people, especially if it has something to do with travelling overseas. The latest, we hear, is the web show spin off that Netflix was planning on Karan Johar's Student Of The Year.
The team working on the show has been asked to stay home. The pre-production had earlier zeroed down on Thailand for shooting but had later moved on to list Morroco.
It is clear that the travel will not be incurred soon, and who knows how long it will take before it actually hapiness. Even if tbe fear settles down, it will take some time for the people's faith to be restored. So till then, Netflix has sort of kept the OTT version of SOTY at the backburner and have expressed to them their inability to inform about when they'll be in a position to call them back on this project.
