Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do, Gully Boy, etc, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has been entertaining her viewers and audience with some interesting films over the years. As many fans are always interested in knowing the behind the scenes during the shooting of the films and the fun that goes on sets, Zoya Akhtar launches her series with writer Reema Kagti titled Off The Record where cast and crew talk about what went into creating best scenes. In the first episode of the series, actor Farhan Akhtar talks about his intense scene from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara with Naseeruddin Shah.

In the series Off The Record, the cast and crew of Tiger Baby Film productions will share be sharing their experiences on what went into creating some of their best scenes during the filming process. As the series premiered on Sunday on YouTube, Zoya’s brother Farhan Akhtar was the first guest on the show. Sharing a glimpse from the episode, Farhan took to his Twitter account to share how he will be talking about his intense scene from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara with Naseeruddin Shah where his character Imran meets with his biological father for the first time. Farhan tweeted, “Took a walk down memory lane .. come join me,” who also produced Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

As Farhan Akhtar asked fans to join him on his trip down memory lane, the caption of the first episode of the series on YouTube introduces the series ‘Off The Record’ where the cast and crew from the Tiger Baby clan let us in on what went into creating some of their best scenes, what their psychology was at that moment and why this particular scene will always remain unforgettable to them. In the video, as the scene from the movie ZNMD plays along, Farhan Akhtar talks about the character he played. He shares how Imraan who has been a humorous guy in the film, later with the intense scene gave the audience a glimpse of his vulnerable side. In the video, Farhan also shared how it was daunting to perform a scene with Naseeruddin Shah and mentioned how he made sure he followed the directions of director Zoya Akhtar.
