Amidst the Coronavirus lockdown, quite a few movies and series have been released and people binged on them so hard that they finished in a week maybe even less. Thanks to the OTT platforms who were constantly releasing some new content, keeping everyone hooked. Similarly, just recently Paatal Lok was released on Amazon Prime, and fans are completely bowled over it. Backed by Anushka Sharma, the series has turned to be a massive hit amongst the digital users and this obviously makes the producer Anushka beaming with joy. Speaking about the same, the actress recently spoke about the show while interviewing with journalist Rajeev Masand.
During the conversation, with Masand, the actor was asked about what drew her to the project. Anushka also revealed that her involvement in the show was since inception.
She also revealed that her favourite scene from the show is the one in which Inspector Hathi Ramo Chaudhary hurls Haryanvi abuses at a goon, winning the respect of his son. However, he later gets a tight slap from his wife.
After the debacle of Zero, Sharma said that she is working on not letting things affect her as she quoted saying, “I’ve been working on not letting things affect me. Today Paatal Lok has done really well, but I’m not thinking that my worth has increased. When Zero happened, I don’t want to put myself through that, it’s extremely unhealthy...
