Past Midnight: Superhero Universe To Take Over Netflix In New Russo Brothers' Series
Russo Brothers’ are still not done with their superhero outings. As per reports they have geared up to produce yet another superhero flick titled, Past Midnight for the OTT platform, Netflix. Yeah!! And as you read further you will get to know deets about the same, which we are sure, will keep you eagerly waiting for it, till it premieres on the OTT platform. On that note let’s begin with its premiere date, its gonna be long wait as the film will see the light only in 2021 or 2022.

As per reports in What’s On Netflix.com, Past Midnight will be about a superhero, Midnight who is released from the prison, only to combat with his old enemies and help the cop in their mission. The superhero will be shown to have turned 65 in the flick, and being put behind the bars for taking law in his hands. Though the makers are yet to decided on the stars to be roped for this superhero flick. Reports on the portal gave out few names who were approached for it.

The list includes Arnold Schwarzenegger for the lead role, Chris Pine to play detective. Beside them, the makers are yet to decide who they should cast in the role of Rose Northcutt, Chloe Wolff and Captain Everett Gardner for the show.


Though the film was supposed to go on floor in summer 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic things have gone on hold. Meanwhile it was also reported of the project being in the scripting stage.
