The wait is over! The much anticipated Pavitra Rishta 2.O is all set to begin shoot and we hear along with Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh, Randeep Rai and Asheema Vardhan have also joined the show. The two would be playing pivotal roles in the digital remake of popular show.
Randeep Rai who was last seen in Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai as Sameer will play Manav's (Shaheer Sheikh) younger brother whereas Dev DD actress Asheema Vardhan will play his girlfriend on the show. Pavitra Rishta 2.O is a digital sequel of television's successful show Pavitra Rishta which starred Ankita Lokhande and late Sushant Singh Rajput in it. In the series Shaheer will be replacing Sushant's character of Manav. Whereas Ankita will reprise the character of Archana. Talking about Pavitra Rishta, the show that began in 2009 entertained audiences with 1500 episodes . Late Sushant Singh Rajput, quit the show in 2011 and senior actor Hiten Tejwani stepped into his shoes to play the title role for 3 years, the show went off air in 2014. This romantic drama has been in the news again after Sushant's death and now more so after a digital reboot gas been announced.
