Chopra, Purab Kohli, and Manish Chaudhari in pivotal roles, the show follows the lives of two soldiers returning to Indian soil
after 17 years of being held, hostage. It takes us through their struggle to
acclimate to a normal life after years of torture in imprisonment. After 5
years and lots of love, this show is now making a digital comeback! MX Player
is launching the show for netizens and we see that the cast is excited as well
Satyadeep Mishra who played the role of Squadron Leader Imaan Khan expressed his excitement and nostalgia on social media by sharing a few glimpses of the show. He wrote, “Remember these images?! I hear it's coming back on #mxplayer - from the 13th of August! As excited as you are....it's been a while! Actress Sandhya Mridul who was seen as Nazneen Khan followed and reposted the same expressing her exhilaration.
Prisoners Of War - Bandi Yuddh Ke broke stereotypes on TV and gave us fresh content amidst saas-bahu dramas. The show which was released in 2016 won awards including the Jury award for the best Asian show at Seoul International drama awards and for its promotion and music at the Abby. It also had 12 nominations at the ITA awards. Actor Purab Kohli won the Best Actor-Jury for his portrayal of Naib Subedar Sartaaj Singh and the Best Actor in a Negative Role went to Denzil Smith. The cast and the audiences are more than excited to binge-watch the show again! All episodes of this riveting show will be available to stream on MX Player starting 13th August.
