Hum Do Humare Do starring Kriti Sanon and Rajkumar Rao to take the OTT route. The film produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock film is expected to release on a digital platform as per some reports. Since cinemas in Maharashtra are still closed the makers of the film are thinking of an alternative. Reportedly, producers aren’t willing to bear the losses considering many of these projects have been wrapped up before the pandemic. 

Hum Do Humare Do a quirky comedy revolves around a married couple who are blissfully enjoying their life but adopt two parents in order to fill the void. But, this begins the chaos created by the parents played Ratna Pathak Shah and Paresh Rawal. While the film was earlier titled Second Innings, they changed and kept Hum Do Humare Do. The film marks the second collaboration between Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao after their hit film, Bareilly Ki Barfi. Directed by Gujarati filmmaker Abhishek Jain, it is written by Abhijeet Khuman and Deepak Venkateshan. Now, according to the latest report, the film will go the digital way and release on Disney+ Hotstar.


Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon was last in Mimi which released on Netflix and did really well. Shiddat starring Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan is another film of Maddock which will release on Disney+ HotStar on 1 October. On the other hand, Rajkumar Rao is busy shooting for his next project Monica, Oh My Darling with Radhika Apte, which is expected to release on Netflix. He also Badhai Do with Bhumi Pednekar which he recently completed shoot off.
