After the success of the first part, the show Rangbaaz is headed for its second season called Rangbaaz Phirse on Zee5 and now, we have it that the talented actor Sharad Kelkar who’s known more for his evil characters on screen, will be essaying an important role on the show.
Sharad will be seen essaying the role of Raju Thehat, an illegal liquor trader in Rajasthan who is fond of cars and women and has a very strong hold in Jatt politics of the state.

Speaking about his role, Sharad told us, “Raju Thehat is a solid character. For me, negative roles are challenging and I feel as an actor, doing different kind of roles is very important. Rangbaaz Phirse is shaping up really well and I cannot wait for the audience to watch the series.”
Inspired by true events, Rangbaaz Phirse is a fast-paced, crime thriller. The nine-episode series is a story about misguided manipulated youth because of politics. The series highlights how an individual is not born as a criminal but becomes one because of the circumstances around him.
Rangbaaz Phirse stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Gul Panag in lead roles and Zeeshan Ayyub, Sharad Kelkar, Spruha Joshi, Harsh Chhaya and Sushant Singh in prime roles.
Rangbaaz Phirse is written by Siddharth Mishra, who also wrote Season 1, directed by Sachin Pathak and is produced by JAR Productions. The show will premiere on ZEE5 from December 20.
