Charming con artist Matsya faces off badass ACP Tejraj Singh in Matsya Kaand
After a long wait, Ravii Dubey is 'back with a bang' and the trailer of his much-awaited noir themed web series 'Matsya Kaand' has been creating ripples in the industry and amongst audiences. Featuring Ravii Dubey as a charming con artist who conducts his kaand with aptitude, intelligence and charm, Matsya Kaand brings something new to OTT and assures to keep the audiences glued to the screens.
Matsya easily pulls off the daring and biggest kaands across the country by using his charm and sharp skills, and successfully manages to slip past the cops all the time. But then, he meets ACP Tejraj Singh (played by Ravi Kishan).
Speaking about the show, Ravii Dubey said, “It is an absolute honor for me to share the screen with veterans like Piyush Mishra and Ravi Kishan. The narrative sees me embody 11 avatars for the kaands I undertake and unique plot compelled me to experiment and venture into the most sought-after space currently – OTT. Viewers these days are always looking for fresh and unique content that can be watched on the go. Matsya Kaand was a perfect opportunity for me, where I got the chance to play multiple characters with some shades of grey,This is by far the most exciting role I have done .”
ACP Tejraj Singh, who is scary and badass, is given the charge of Matsya's case and things are about to turn upside down. ACP Tejraj's biggest strength is that he can think just like his targets. The cat-mouse race gets interesting with Matsya challenging ACP Tejraj Singh to catch him if he can.
Speaking of the same, Ravi Kishan mentioned, “I am playing the role of a shrewd cop who has a streak of stubbornness and the drive to always get the job done. My fans enjoy watching me play eccentric roles and ACP Tejraj, with his dialoguebaazi and dare devil attitude is sure to appeal to the viewers. This show has a little bit of everything for everybody whether its action, comedy or drama and I hope the audience showers the series with their love.”
The web series is all set to be released on 18th November on MX Player. Apart from Ravii Dubey and Ravi Kishan, it also stars Piyush Mishra, Zoya Afroz, Madhur Mittal, Rajesh Sharma and Naved Aslam among others in key roles and is directed by Ajay Bhuyan.
