With theatres shutting indefinitely because of the Coronavirus lockdown, a lot of upcoming Bollywood biggies are directly premiering on OTT platforms. Among many others, the list also includes Vidya Balan’s Shakuntala Devi, a biopic on the math genius. It was some days ago that the actor announced this news, now, taking to her social media, Vidya Balan has dropped in the biopic’s release date and it’s only going to add to your excitement. Well, the actor made it a point to unveil the date uniquely, just like the legendary mathematician herself.

The video begins with Vidya giving a tough math problem, that too as quickly as possible. She then takes a pause and asks viewers if she’s going too fast. Further, Vidya slows down and once again asks the same problem, the answer of which turns out to be Shakuntala Devi’s release date, that is, July 31, 2020. Now, that’s a unique way! “#ShakuntalaDevi premieres on @PrimeVideoIN on 31st July 2020. Experience the story of an extraordinary mind! #ShakuntalaDeviOnPrime premieres July 31, on @PrimeVideoIN,” read her caption.

The film will see Vidya portraying the role of the globally renowned Indian mathematics genius, who was popularly known as the ‘human computer’.
