She Trailer: Imtiaz Ali’s Netflix Crime-Thriller Looks Riveting, With Some Brilliant Performances
The trailer of Imtiaz Ali’s She, a Netflix crime-thriller series, has released and gives a glimpse of a very riveting storyline with some powerful characters. The series will premiere on March 20, 2020
Online streaming giant Netflix dropped the trailer of their upcoming crime-thriller series titled ‘She’, on Wednesday. This Netflix original series has been written by Imtiaz Ali, and the series revolves around a female constable who is sent on an undercover mission to bust an underworld gang. The trailer gives a glimpse of a very riveting storyline with some powerful characters. The series features Vijay Varma of Gully Boy fame, and Aaditi Pohankar, known for her role in Lai Bhaari. The series will premiere on March 20, 2020.
The trailer shows Aaditi Pohankar in the role of senior contable at Reay Road Police in Mumbai, while Vijay Varma plays the role of Sasya. The trailer begins by showing the senior officials doubtful if the female cop can be trusted with such an important case. However, she soon goes missing and loses contact with the officials. It is then, that she discovers her true potential and discovers and explores her sexuality as she goes. This crime- thriller has been created by the makers of films such as Tamasha, Andhadhun, and the Netflix original Jamtara.

While talking to IANS, Aaditi Pohankar opened up about her character. She said, “In the line of duty, my character Bhumika discovers herself - her sexuality and her own power in the truest sense. This role has definitely been one of the most challenging and complex one that I have played so far. I'm thankful that Imtiaz chose me to bring this amazing character to life.”
