Snehil Dixit Mehra Turns News Anchor In Dark 7 White; Says, 'I Want To Break My Image Of BC Aunty'- EXCLUSIVE
Snehil Dixit Mehra , aka BC aunty, seems to be in a mood to breakfree from her image. The actress has bagged a role of a news anchor in web series, Dark 7 White
Internet sensation Snehil Dixit Mehra, who is popularly known as BC Aunty, is all set to entertain her fans with her acting skills this time. Though Snehil has been part of web series Apharan before for a short role.
And now, Snehil has bagged a role in Jatin Sarna starrer Dark 7 White, where she will play a journalist. Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, Snehil not only revealed about her character but also shared an interesting behind the scene trivia with us.
"It's a character called Alia, who is an honest news anchor in the show. You can relate with her, considering the current scenario that for TRPs, news channels keep changing their morals. So, my character also has a big shocking surprise for the audience. I think with this character I will be able to break the image of BC Aunty. It's a modern character who is updated with all the news and she is very strong. I have a very interesting scene with Jatin Sarna who is a seasoned actor and he really helped me with the scene and encouraged me as I was getting very nervous," Snehil said.
Snehil adds, "It was an additional scene and not part of the original script. But the director Sattwik Mohanty decided we should add this because it is a social slur in the current situation. So, when he added this scene I was very nervous. I was almost in tears and not able to perform. It was then that Jatin Sarna held me and told me no you can perform . In fact, he underplayed his character so that I could shine onscreen and that is a huge kindness on his part."
Dark 7 White is a political murder mystery that’s has quirky narration mixed with dark humour. The series is about seven friends where one of them uses the other six for his advantage. Permanent Roommates stars Sumeet Vyas and Nidhi Singh will also be part of the series.
