Tandav Row: Ali Abbas Zafar Gives An UPDATE After Rendering Unconditional Apology Over 'Offending Sentiments'
Tandav that released on Amazon Prime is being widely discussed on social media. It has been embroiled in a controversy for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. The political drama stars Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Kritika Kamra, Gauahar Khan and many more. It is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Reportedly, an FIR was filed against the makers of the show and the Information & Broadcasting Ministry sought for an explanation after various grievances were presented against the show. Now, Ali Abbas Zafar has given an update.

In a recent tweet, Ali Abbas Zafar has mentioned that they are in talks with the Information & Broadcasting Ministry and are trying to bring a resolve to the issue. He wrote, "We just want to share a quick update with everybody. We are in further engagement with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to resolve the concerns that have been raised. We value your continued patience and support, and should have a solution shortly."

This he shared over the apology that he and his Tandav team extended to the fans for hurting any kind of sentiments. An excerpt from the apology read, "The cast and crew did not have any intention to offend the sentiments of any individual, caste, community, race, religion, or religious beliefs or insult or outrage any institution, political party or person, living or dead. The cast and crew of Tandav take cognizance of the concerns expressed by the people and unconditionally apologize if it has unintentionally hurt anybody's sentiments."
