Manoj Bajpayee who made his digital debut with The Family Man garnered a lot of appreciation for essaying the role of a senior analyst in the T.A.S.C force, a fictional wing of India's Anti-Terror squad. Manoj as Srikant Tiwari was well-received by the audiences and now, the makers have decided to come up with the second season. The best part is that South Superstar Samantha Akkineni has come onboard and she'll be making her digital debut with The Family Man Season 2.
Samantha Akkineni who impressed all with her powerful performance in Mahanati considers this to be her dream role. Excited Samantha took to Instagram to make the announcement as the shooting for The Family Man season 2 kickstarted. She shared a video that features all the good reviews received by The Family Man and the announcement that season 2 is now being filmed. Samantha Akkineni in an interview also spoke about being a part of The Family Man 2 and said, "With the digital space booming, I knew I had to be a part of this revolution. What better way to make my digital debut, than with one of India's most loved series, The Family Man. I have loved Raj & DK's work and given the global reach and standing of Amazon Prime Video, I couldn't have asked for better partners,' as reported by India Today.
