The shocking news of Jas Waters’ demise was confirmed by This Is Us writers on their official social media handle. Mourning her sad demise stars Mandy Moore, Susan Kelechi and others also paid their tributes and offered condolences to the family of the late writer.

On Twitter, This Is Us writers tweeted, “The entire #ThisIsUs family was devastated to learn of Jas Waters passing. In our time together, Jas left her mark on us and ALL over the show. She was a brilliant storyteller and a force of nature. We send our deepest sympathies to her loved ones. She was one of us. RIP @JasFly.” In the tweet, the show’s writers mentioned how the entire family of This Is Us are devasted to learn the news of Jas Waters passing.
