The trailer of Tribhanga which talks about the lives of three super and strong women belonging to one family has garnered rave reviews from the cine-goers and critics. As we all are pretty pumped up to meet the three ladies, actor Kajol, one of the women from the trio, recently shared a video on her Instagram, briefing everyone about Tanve Azmi, Mithila Palkar and her character in the film. Starting with her onscreen mother, Nayan, she is a hardworking and career-focused person.
It also gives glimpses of her sour relationship with her daughter Anu aka Kajol who is ‘slanty, bendy, crazy and sexy’. She is not on good terms with her own mother but deep down has a lot of love for her. Speaking about Anu’s daughter Masha aka Mithila is the one who is pretty balanced, emotional and soft-spoken. She maintains a perfect balance between her mother’s crazy side and her grandmother’s practical side. While sharing the little back story of the characters on her profile, Kajol backed it with, “First she survived, then she thrived. The biggest mama bear around! Meet Anu on 15th January only on Netflix. #Tribhanga. @mipalkar @NetflixIndia”
Actor Renuka Shahane has directed the film and talking about Tribhanga, and the experience of directing it, she told to India Today, "It has been an experience that is difficult to put in words because it is so much more than what directing a film is. I have also written the script, directed it, and got absolutely fabulous actors to work with. I honestly didn't know how to contain my excitement when Kajol said yes to the film."
She also revealed that after Kajol said yes to the film, her actor/husband Ajay Devgn came on board as a producer. Tribhanga will be releasing on January 15 on Netflix.
