It goes without saying that Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel are among one of the most admired onscreen couples, thanks to their delightful chemistry in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The show garnered huge fan-following and TRPs, making fans want to see more of the two. Recently, it was being speculated that Divyanka and Karan will be reuniting for Ekta Kapoor’s ALT Balaji show. However, Divyanka, in a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, addressed the news and revealed that it was supposed to happen but isn’t anymore.
The actress revealed that she is aware of how all their fans will be disappointed to hear such news; however, it’s her responsibility to inform people. She said, “As of now, I haven't signed for anything else. There was one project with Karan which I think is not happening anymore. I am sorry guys. I know a lot of people were waiting for his project of ours. I am not sure, there might a technical reason but I think it is my responsibility to inform people that it may not happen."
Indeed a piece of sad news for all the Karan and Divyanka fans but don’t lose hopes, you never know what the future holds for these two phenomenal actors.
In an earlier conversation with Pinkvilla, Divyanka also opened up on not being able to meet Karan's daughter Mehr as of now but she wishes to soon. “I have not met her. I really really want to meet her. We share the same birthday date. When she was born mujhe Abhay ji, Ankita Bhargava’s father, ne mujhe personally call kia and said ki “Arey waah ab to meri beti and meri granddaughter dono ab same birthday date ki hain.” He considers me to be his daughter like Ankita. So, it was beautiful,” said the actress.
