This week, streaming platform Netflix challenged its limits by releasing one of its most controversial series- Bad Boys Billionaires India, which is a documentary on India's 3 biggest industrialists- Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Subrata Roy and the scams committed by them.

It's a 3 episodic series, where each episode is based on one business tycoon and his life story. The King Of Good Times on Vijay Mallya, Diamonds Aren't Forever on Nirav Modi and The World's Biggest Family on Subrata Roy.

If you have been following these cases closely, then don't expect to see a big revelation in the series as most of what they have shown is available on public domain.

But if you fall in my category and don't have much details about the scams committed by these three business tycoons, then the series provides all the information in a simplified and engaging manner. The narrative is strong with the usage of lot of unseen footages from these industrialists' lives. For instance, sneak peak into the lavish parties of Vijay Mallya, the larger than life Lucknow wedding of Subrata Roy's son- all these make the viewing an interesting affair.

Involving the close aides, employees who suffered, people who were fooled in these scams, journalists who were following the story during that phase and family members of the businessmen does give an edge to the series, as you get a more comprehensive and balanced approach to the cases.

Honestly, I was left confused about my emotion towards these tycoons by the end of the episodes, as I failed to categorize them as fraudsters, visionaries with unachievable dreams or businessmen with calculations and tricks gone wrong!

Overall, Bad Boys Billionaires India is definitely bingeworthy and I'd give it 3 stars.
