BINGE Or CRINGE: Netflix’s ‘Sacred Games’ Season 2 Trailer Review
The trailer of Sacred Games season 2 was released last month. The Netflix original is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan, the series will premiere on Netflix on August 15. The star cast remains the same as the season 1 which includes Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddique and others. However, the second season of the Netflix web-show also introduces Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey. Although, the first season was a big hit. However, the series is adapted from Vikram Chandra's novel of the same name. It is about a Mumbai gangster known as Ganesh Gaitonde aka Nawazuddin Siddiqui who warns of a holocaust in 25 days. While a police officer Sartaj Singh aka Saif Ali Khan tries to stop it from happening.

According to the newly released trailer, season 2 will pick up from where the action stopped in the first season, bringing back Ganesh Gaitonde in the full glory of his devilish nature. Sartaj Singh can be seen searching out for the clues that Ganesh Gaitonde has left behind for him to save Mumbai. Pankaj Tripathi as Guruji can be seen more than once in the trailer. It can be also seen in the trailer that there will be a mix of politics and religions in the second season just like the first one. 



The first season has shown the rise of Ganesh Gaitonde, it had also shown some disastrous events like the Mumbai blasts, the demolition of the Babri Masjid, the Shah Bano case. The first season received positive reviews from the critics as well as from the audience, and now we must wait for another few days to enjoy the second season of ‘Sacred Games’.
