Ozark Season 3 Review: The Netflix Drama Series Gets An Applaud From The Critics; Thanks To Jason Bateman-Laura Linney’s Performances
The season one of the Netflix Orginal thriller-drama series Ozark starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney premiered online on July 21, 2017. The series is based on a professional couple Marty and Wendy Byrde who are forced to move from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks after they got stuck up in a money-laundering scheme with a Mexican drug cartel. With fans not loving the season 2 of the series pretty much, the season 3 of Ozark will be released today gets an applaud from the critics but is not completely faultless.

According to Vanity Fair’s Richard Lawson, season 3 had some grievances with how the story took shape as we move on to the next episodes of the season. The story for him remains a sturdy and gripping series but just wishes the writers found more organic ways to keep the twists coming. He said, “I just wish it found more organic ways to keep the twists coming, that it had faith in the strength of its central thread instead of taking a detour like this one, which was always going to end in witless ruin.”

Richard Roeper in his review for the Chicago Sun Times mentioned that it is thanks to the strength of a strong supporting cast that season 3 of Ozark is interesting to watch. He shared that the Byrdes' partner lawyer Helen has gotten more screen time in the third season Tom Pelphrey as Wendy's brother Ben is a powerful addition to the cast of Ozark’s season 3.

Meanwhile, as per the reviews about season 3 of Ozark, the critics agree with the fact that the series has had a step up this season with the interesting twists and turns throughout. As the story unfolds further in the season 3 of Ozark, the third season seems to have been taken a notch up thanks to the stellar performances from the lead pair Jason Bateman and Laura Linney and the appealing performing by the supporting cast of the show that keeps the viewer hooked on to move to the next episode.

The series Ozark is created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams for Netflix. The season 3 of Ozark will premiere today on March 27, 2020, on Netflix. Also Read: Netflix, Hotstar, Other Apps Lower Video Quality For Phones Until April 14 In The Wake Of 21-Day Lockdown
