Goldie Behl is all set to entertain audiences with his upcoming show 'Mithya' starring Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani. The web series navigates the complex relationship between Juhi, a Hindi teacher and Rhea, her student, played by Huma and Avantika. The trailer dropped a couple of days ago and it received an amazing response. Fans are now looking forward to the 6-episode series. In an exclusive chat with SpotboyE.com, Goldie Behl revealed the challenges they faced while shooting and more.
Talking about the challenges, he said, "There were strange things like generally we were waiting for rain. Sometimes when there was a sunny day, we used to wait for the clouds to come in. There's not even a single shot in sunshine the entire show which gives a beautiful look." He added that there were times when it stopped raining, the team had to create their own rain.
When asked about the USP of the show, he said, "Brilliant performances from the star cast. The plot as well." He added that one can expect a lot of twists and turns.
Showering praise on Huma, Goldie said, "She is playing a Hindi professor. Unfortunately, there are very few who can carry the stature of a professor and has a very clean diction. Huma is slightly vulnerable, always interesting, we have seen her in aggressive parts so things fell into place."
For the uninitiated, Avantika Dassani is making her debut with this series. When asked Goldie about her performance, he shared, "She has done a great job. I wanted a person who had a certain softness to her and had a millenial gen Z vibe to her but at the same time it was a very out of the box role, and she's very unpredictable in the show, so I just felt with a softer, younger face, her unpredictability will get heightened."
