Karwa Chauth 2021 Sargi Thali: Make Sure This Plate Of Ritual Has Everything You Need; Know About It
Before anything, we would like to tell you the meaning of Karwa Chauth. It means an earthen water pitcher and the fourth day of the Hindu calendar. Karwa Chauth 2021 will be going to be observed on 24th October.

This auspicious festival is largely celebrated in the Northern part of India wherein married women keep Nirjala (Without water) fast and listen to Katha for their husband’s long life and good health. The fast starts before sunrise and end after the moonrise. Every married woman is treated with a plate a different delicacy in the morning by their mothers-in-law. That plate of ritual calls Sargi. So, here we are going to talk about what are the must-have food and other items you should keep in the Sargi 2021 thali.

Dry Fruit:
Do not forget to add dry fruits such as cashew, almonds, pistachio and raisins. These will keep you full for a long time and will provide energy and nutrients for the whole day.

Seviya Kheer:
Prepare seviya kheer or sweet vermicelli to satisfy your sweet tooth and keep you full for a longer time.

Light Cooked Food
Make sure your Sargi thali has some light cooked food such as aloo ki sabzi and chapati. Or anything which would not make you feel thirsty and bloated.

Coconut Water:
Coconut water does not only help you satisfy your thirst but also provide you with many vital nutrients and help you stay hydrated for your body.

Fruits:
Fruits are an excellent source of hydration. As Karwa Chauth fast is observed without water, fruits are the must-haves to your Sargi 2021 thali.
