Actors going on specific diets or becoming more careful about what they consume, to look fit and fab on screen, has become a common phenomenon in the glamour world. Joining the league is TV actress Jasmin Bhasin; roped in by ace producer and TV czarina Ekta Kapoor for the fourth instalment of the most popular show on TV, Naagin 4. Overwhelmed by being roped in by the makers, the actress wants to delivery her best, keeping in mind the show’s popularity and benchmark it has set on the small screen.
In conversation with a news agency IANS, the actress revealed that she has given up on butter chicken and pizza, to look her best on screen. She said, “The thought that came to my mind when I was called for 'Naagin' was, ‘Oh my god!' The next one was ‘I have to become thin now to look like a nice, hot naagin. I was like, ‘Jasmin now you have to stop eating butter chicken and pizzas!” Mentioning about the actresses associated with the previous seasons such as Mouni Roy, Karishma Tanna, Adaa Khan, Surbhi Jyoti and Anita Hassanandani, she feels there is a lot of pressure on her from all the aspects. Jasmin plays Nayantara in Naagin 4. Further talkimh about her preparation for the role she said, “The special preparation that I need to put in is to get into shape. The leading ladies of the previous seasons have set really high standards and so I have given up on my love, that is food. I am eating healthy and I am trying to work out so that I look the best. I have unlearned everything that I learned in my past fiction shows because this is a totally different show."
Though the show was speculated to premiere in October, SpotboyE.com informed you that the show will air on TV from December onwards.
Ekta Kapoor had surprised her fans in the month of September by taking to her social media handle, as she announced the fourth instalment of her supernatural thriller, Naagin.
