Personalisation has become the most common after customer requisite in the luxury world and Christian Dior has joined in by offering a service for its Book totes. The customised bags ABCDior, which is essentially a custom embroidery done on its new blockbuster bag - the Book totes, first seen on the Spring/Summer 2018 runway collection.
Not only for its customized initials but the bag is also special as it has been designed by Dior’s artistic director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, who replaced the motif, originally that of a young woman on a swing to a scene which features wild animals. The print appears embroidered on garments and accessories including the Dior Book Tote, each piece requires over one million stitches over a 42-hour time period.
The beautifully designed bag costs INR 2,15,865 approximately.
