Spain Through The Lens: Tourism, Cinema, And The Journey Of Bollylands.com
When people think of Europe’s most vibrant travel destinations, Spain almost always appears at the top of the list. This beautiful country is not only a favourite tourist destination for Indian travellers but is also a popular shooting location for Indian filmmakers. When we talk about films shot in Spain, the first movie that comes to mind is Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara, directed by Zoya Akhtar. However, the fact is that many Indian films after ZNMD were shot in Spain, including Pathaan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, War 2, and O Romeo. Apart from that, several South Indian films like Bharat Ane Nenu, Bharta Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, and Rama Rao on Duty were also shot there. In addition, several popular web series such as Money Heist, The Crown, and Game of Thrones were filmed in multiple locations across Spain.

Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara has completely changed the definition of travel among Indian tourists. After the release of ZNMD, there was a significant spike in Indian tourists visiting Spain. Many travellers wanted to attend La Tomatina, groove to Flamenco dance steps, and experience the thrilling Running of the Bulls, which are popular traditions celebrated in Spain.

A Bollywood-based
