Last time, Dippy’s makeup artist Sandhya Shekhar taught everyone how to nail perfect winged eyeliner. While many of you might have practiced Deepika Padukone style winged eyeliner during the lockdown at home, here we bring you another task if you are a big Dippy no makeup look fans.
Well, her no-makeup look consists of 7 simple steps. To begin with, Sandhya suggests that you prep your skin with an ice cube then apply just one pump of moisturiser and evenly massage it all over the face. Giving a step-by-step guide to Elle, Sandhya said, “Helps your make-up hold on to your skin for longer, so apply it on areas where you tend to sweat.”Next, to cover you prominent dark circles or a zit use a concealer.
Moving to the base, Sandhya told Elle, “Start with a few drops of foundation on the back of your hand, dab a buffing brush in it and gently sweep it across your face for an airbrushed look.” To get a natural pink look, then use a blush, “Pick a subtle blush and apply it on the apple of your cheeks in upward motions,” directs Sandhya. Then contour your face followed by a highlighter. She further added, “Follow the natural lines of your face while contouring. Then blend the bronzer with a fluffy brush to avoid harsh lines. Apply highlighter on all the points where the sun hits your face–cheekbones, inner corner of the eyes, under your brow, on the nose bridge and your cupid’s bow.”
To make your lashes and eyebrows look dark fill them with mascara and eyebrow pencil. Last but not the least, opt for a nude liner to line lips and follow that up with lipstick. “For Deepika or even Anushka, I like to use a mix of five to six colours for the perfect nude colour,” she concluded.
