The symptoms are--severe headaches, nausea or vomiting, loss of sensation in limbs, vision problems, talking difficulties. The tumour is diagnosed from MRI and CT scan. Brain tumour location plays an important role in its treatment. Some common treatment methods including surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, steroids help in treating the patient.
On this day, many hospitals organise awareness activity to educate people about this disease. According to data, the majority of people suffering from brain tumour dies within 9-12 months.
