Ravi Jadhav me not be churning out blockbusters semi-annually but the films he makes leave a mark in the film world. Fans have appreciated Ravi Jadhav, for his renowned hits like, ‘Timepass’, ‘Timepass 2’, ‘Balak Palak’, ‘Nude’ and ‘Kaccha Limbu’. Now he is back with a strong film that has an inspirational plot where he shares a new take on life.
The lead actress who has ruled the small screens, with her television serial ‘Phulpakhru’, will be playing the character of ‘Ananya’. The plot of the film revolves around a simple girl-next-door ‘Ananya’ who meets with a life-altering accident. Her life takes a turn and she undergoes a very inspiring transformation. Ananya finds motivation in her adversities and bouncer back with resilience. The story is bound to motivate viewers to live life in a more meaningful way.
This film is an adaptation of Pratap Phad’s play going by the same name. Pratap Phad is also the director-writer of the film. His play ‘Ananya’ has received lots of praise and recognition by critics, fans and various drama festivals. It was showcased in one of the most prestigious forums like Bharat Rang Mahotsav.
The lead actress Rujuta Bagwe from the play was also recognized by a ‘Ranga Pratibha Puraskar’ of Akhil Bhartiya Natya Parishad. Both Rutuja and Pratap were recognized as ‘Best Actor Female’ and ‘Best Director’ respectively, by ‘Maharashtra Rajya Shasan Puraskar’ in the commercial drama category.
