‘Baba’ Trailer released: Sanjay Dutt’s Marathi Production Debut
Sanjay Dutt along with his wife and co-producer Maanayata Dutt released the official trailer of their first Marathi film ‘Baba’ on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, at PVR Cinemas in Juhu along with producer Ashok Subhedar and director Raj Gupta. The entire cast of the film was present at the launch; Deepak Dobriyal and Nandita Patkar who are in the lead role, along with Spruha Joshi, Abhijeet Khandkekar, Chittaranjan Giri, Jaywant Wadkar, Shailesh Datar, Jayant Gadekar, child artist Aaryan Menghji were seen celebrating this launch.

Marathi as well as Hindi film industry was looking forward to this launch ever since the first motion poster and song of the movie ‘Adgula Madgula’ was out. ‘Baba’s trailer launch has raised everyone’s expectations. The film is set to release on 2nd August.

Director Raj Gupta narrates an interesting story of a speech-impaired innocent little boy, living with his parents (played by Deepak Dobriyal and Nandita Patkar) in a small village.  This beautiful, small world shatters when the real parents of this boy (played by Spruha Joshi and Abhijeet Khandkekar) find their way to their son. The struggle at both sides is real because both the couples love their child, one because they are the biological parents and other because they have raised their son with a great deal of love and sacrifices.

He weaves together all the characters together in a beautiful screenplay that sends a powerful message to the audience ‘feelings have no language’.
The film being attribute to Sanjay Dutt’s  father, is named ‘Baba’ and will be released under the banner Sanjay S Dutt Productions, with Blue Mustang Creations' Ashok Subhedar and Aarti Subhedar. Blue Mustang Creations had earlier also produced the Marathi film Bucket List starring Madhuri Dixit.
