‘Girlfriend’ Singer Shalmali Shares Stage With Papon For A New Bengali Song
Papon and Shalmali share stage for Oriplast Originals “Aajo Cholechi”
Singer Shalmali , who is known for her various peppy numbers from Marathi films like ‘Happy Journey’, ‘Pune 52’, ‘Baaji’, ‘Carry On Deshpande’ and ‘Girlfriend’, has recently surprised her fans with a new song ‘Aajo Cholechi’ in Bengali for Oriplast Originals on SVF’s YouTube channel.
Shalmali, known in Hindi and Marathi for her versatility; her new work in a third language altogether has left her fans spellbound. After an entertaining number ‘Querida Querido’ for upcoming film ‘Girlfriend’, this is Shalmali’s first collaboration with Papon and Subhadeep Mitra.
‘Aajo Cholechi’ takes you in the Himachal folk mixed with soft Bengali rhythm that complements the visual presentation of a romance of soothing, evening slumber in the hills! Shalmali recently shared a video of this song on her Instagram.
