‘Kesari': Sharad Pawar Unveils Poster Of Sujay Dahake's Next Starring Virat Madke, Mahesh Majarekar, And Vikram Gokhale
Virat Madke, Mahesh Majarekar, And Vikram Gokhale starrer film based on Marathi Wrestling talent is all set to release soon
This year, the traditional sport of Maharashtra, ‘Kusti’ will find its claim to fame on the silver screen with ‘Kesari’. National award winner Sujay Dahake inaugurated the poster of the film at hands of NCP President Sharad Pawar. Sujay shared this moment on his Facebook wall.
‘Kesari’, is the 'title' of fame for wrestlers in Maharashtra. Maharashtra has a long-standing history of wrestling, but to date, good films based on this subject were not made. The current situation of politics in this sport, the training, the financial setbacks a player faces and te societal struggle is real. Now, in the form of 'Kesari', Sujay has depicted all of this through his male lead Virat Madake, a young actor. Virat has starred in ‘Ashleel Udyog Mitra Mandal’ and ‘Moksha’ in the past.
The trailer shows the effort it takes to become a wrestler for an ordinary rural boy. So, as usual, Sujay enthralls the audience with a realistic subject. Catch the trailer in the bio of Sujay’s social media!
Major actors like Mahesh Manjrekar, Vikram Gokhale, Mohan Joshi, Umesh Jagtap, Chhaya Kadam have played pivotal roles in this. The film is produced by Santosh Ramchandani and Manohar Ramchandani. The shooting for this movie got completed in 2017and now after a long wait the film is being released on February 28, 2020.
