The excitement was already on the peak when we saw the fifty-seven-second trailer of Rinku Rajguru’s most awaited upcoming film 'Makeup'. A dashing Rinku gets drunk, curses, fights, and challenges the norm of society about beauty, character, and behavior of women by screaming from a building’s half done flat!
You may have seen her before in ‘Sairat’ and ‘Kagar’ as a fighter, but ‘Makeup’ shows you a bold new version of Rinku. The one where she crosses all boundaries that society puts for a woman to behave. The new poster of the film is out, and you can see Rinku in her bold new avatar with her leading actor Chinmay Udgirkar.
In the poster, you can see Chinmay in a doctor’s role with a stethoscope, surprised at Rinku’s behavior. Rinku is in a never before the western avatar, drinking draught beer from a mug and putting on makeup.
Ganesh Pandit who has given hit films like 'Balkadu', 'Bandh Nylon Che' 'Yellow', 'Hichki' and 'Love You Zindagi', is all set to make this film a success. The film 'Makeup' is presented by Sohan Rockstar Entertainment, Bala Industries Entertainment Pvt.ltd, and Green Apple Media. Coming to theatres in the new year on 7th February 2019, hell breaks loose when a woman takes the reins of life in her hands wearing ‘Makeup’.
Rinku’s last release 'Kaagar' directed by National award-winning filmmaker, Makarand Mane gained tremendous fame due to the rocking lead pair of Rinku and Shubhankar Tawde. Rinku’s ‘Sairat’, helmed by Nagraj Manjule, was a success not just in Marathi audience but the film also inspired Bollywood to make a remake in Hindi called ‘Dhadak’. The film’s international success also was commendable. We hope in this film too Rinku entertains us like always!
