‘Vaccum Cleaner': One Year Completed For Ashok Saraf And Nirmiti Samant's Play
One year of Ashok Saraf and Nirmitee Saawaant starrer play ‘Vaccum Cleaner' completed today!
'Vacuum Cleaner' is a thoughtful story of Ranjan and Naina played by Ashok Saraf and Nirmiti Sawant. Ranjan and Naina are married for 28 years and lead a harmonious life together. An up-close look in their life tells you that this family is emotionally dysfunctional. They have forgotten about their love for each other but a vacuum cleaner reminds them to pause and re-think life.
Produced by Ashtavinayak, this play is written and directed by actor-director Chinmay Mandlekar. Being a perfectionist that he is, he has crafted the play beautifully. The play turned a year old today and to thank the audience for showering their love on the play the makers shared this Happy Birthday ‘Vaccum Cleaner’ poster on social media.
This play is produced by Ashtavinayak and Nivedita Saraf is the producer of the play. The cast of the play is Ashok Saraf, Nirmitee Saawaant, Tanvi Palav, Mousmi Tondwalkar, Sagar Khedekar, and Prathamesh Cheulkar.
The play opened last year at Gadkari Rangayatan this date and still running successfully across Maharashtra. Ashok Saraf who has been a known legend of comedy in the industry is back on stage after a long time and thus this play is special for the makers as well as Ashok himself. Nirmitee Saawaant who was also popular for her number of films and tv shows is still recalled for her character of ‘Gangubai’.
It is a treat to the eyes to watch legends faced opposite each other on stage in this wonderful play even after a year!
