Before yesterday, Mumbai was under the cover of heavy rain for 2 days. The streets were flooded with water. Water was logged at people’s houses and many other places in Mumbai. That also included Parel’s Damodar Natyagruha. Actor Siddharth Jadhav recently expressed his grief over the flood in Damodar Natyagruha on social media, by sharing some devastating pictures of the auditorium.

As we can see the auditorium was filled with water. Not only the seats but also the pit of the auditorium were underwater. The water was raised to the level of the stage. After seeing this heartbreaking condition of his beloved Natyagruha, Siddharth felt very sad and expressed his feelings.

He said that he felt like crying after seeing such a heart-rending condition of the stage that taught him so much since his school days. Where he watched plays, even performed many plays. He said he can’t bear to watch the bad things that are happening this year, after seeing this. Then he prayed for everyone asked everyone to take care.

For an artist theatre is home, and as we can see from Siddharth’s post. It is hard to watch a place that is so close to you since childhood, in such a bad condition. Many of Siddharth’s fans and artists expressed their sadness through comments, after seeing this post.
