Planet Marathi is currently getting all the limelight since the announcement of their first-ever Marathi OTT platform. This OTT promises thousands of hours of premium entertainment for Marathi fans with a world-class experience. While many big names are being linked to Planet Marathi OTT, the recent news of Sony Marathi's Amit Bhandari moving to Planet Marathi has caused an uproar of excitement in the industry.
Amit, who was the Assistant Vice President at Sony Marathi is also a popular media personality, with several accolades in the entertainment industry. Akshay Bardapurkar, Head and Founder, Planet Marathi has a vision to take Marathi media and entertainment to newer heights with Planet Marathi Film Production, Planet Marathi OTT, and Planet Marathi Talent.
Amit Bhandari will be managing all three frontiers with his years of industry experience and camaraderie. While talking about this new chapter he revealed to a leading newspaper, “Today the audience is sensitive when it comes to the content they consume.
