Santosh Juwekar is known for his ruggedly handsome looks and a rowdy appeal in Marathi films like Zenda, Moraya, and Adham. He is coming back to the digital platform after Ashcharyachkit and Ek Thi Begum. His next film Bhonsle on the OTT platform of Sony Liv is about the evils of our society that attack the spirit of our nationals secularity. In the upcoming film, Santhosh plays a negative role while Manoj Bajpayee plays the veteran vigilante who holds a firm stand against communal hatred.

In the trailer shared by Manoj Bajpayee earlier this week, you can see, Manoj in the role of Kaka Bhonsle who is suffering from stage four of brain tumor. A heinous crime awakens  Bhonsle and makes him confront Juwekar asking, “Tune Kiya?”. Santosh accepts being the criminal. Bhonsle represents the secular face of India that does not tolerate communal violence. After being delayed for two years the film is releasing on the OTT platform SonyLiv.
The film is directed by Devashish Makhija and will start streaming from June 26.
