Gashmeer Mahajani and Pooja Sawant will be seen for the first time on the silver screen. Ever since the first look of the film has been released, everyone is excited to know what the movie is all about. While the first poster of the film didn’t tell much about the story as yet, we can certainly say that Gashmeer and Pooja’s romance is set into the koliwada lifestyle of Mumbai. 

In the film Bonus, Pooja is a Koli girl while Gashmeer is a boy who moves into their settlement. Just as the curiosity is increasing and fans are super-thrilled to see this brand new couple on screen, Pooja shares a video on her Instagram that shows how they are shooting in the Koliwada and living the Koliwada life!


In the video, you can see Gashmeer lost in the crowd, walking through the narrow lanes of the settlement. He is trying to light the traditional gas and clean the dusty cramped room. In one of the videos, you can also see him selling footwear and earning daily wages in a retail shop. From the looks of it, he is an outsider who is not used to the struggle of Mumbai’s Koliwada life. Is this why earning ‘Bonus’ is important for him?

The critically acclaimed famous screenplay writer Saurabh Bhave has already given his special touch to many a great project of the Hindi and Marathi films like ‘Pipsi: A Bottle Full of Hope’, ‘Hrudayantar’, ‘Hawaizaada’ (Hindi), ‘Haapus’ and more. The talented writer now makes his debut on the silver screen with his upcoming romantic Marathi film ‘Bonus’. 

Lion Crown Entertainment is producing this film with the association of Arjun Singh Baran and Kartik D Nishandar, Govind Ubhe, N Anupama and Kanchan Patil. ‘Bonus’ is all set to release on 28 February 2020. promises us a soulful love story set in the backdrop of Mumbai’s koliwada.
