Chandramukhi: Makers Of Amitabh Bachchan Starrer AB Aani CD To Kick Start The First Marathi Film Since The Pandemic
Chandramukhi will be the first Marathi film to start shoot after the pandemic started.
Filmmaker Akshay Bardapurkar teams up with Piiyush Singh for the third time in a row. After the Amitabh Bachchan starrer AB Aani CD; and Goshta Eka Paithanichi, the duo will recreate writer Vishwas Patil's novel Chandramukhi on the silver screen. The film goes by the same name and is one of the first big banner Marathi films to go on floors since the pandemic. Shooting starts by November 2020. The film revolves around the life of Chandramukhi, a tamasha lavani dancer, who finds herself on an unconventional path.
Chandramukhi is produced under the banner of Planet Marathi and Golden Ratio Films by Akshay Bardapurkar and Piiyush Singh. The dream team of Hirkani: Prasad Oak, the director of the National Award-winning film Kaccha Limbu, talented actor-producer-screenplay writer Chinmay Mandlekar and popular cinematographer Sanjay Memane reunite with Chandramukhi. Sairat fame Ajay- Atul will make sure the film's music tops every chart in 2021.
Golden Ratio Films will create a hattrick in Marathi with Chandramukhi after their massive success in Hindi, Tamil, and International films. The COO of Golden Ratio films, Piiyush Singh is amazed by the talent of Marathi filmmakers and he believes Chandramukhi takes the caliber of Marathi films to newer heights.

The film explores the realities of a spellbinding woman who finds herself on an unconventional path. We are excited to tell this story, at the same time, this is a huge responsibility to retain the authenticity of the bestseller by Vishwas Patil. We already told you all about the excitement on the teaser release of Chandramukhi in January 2020. The makers have not yet revealed their cast, especially their leading protagonist who plays the gorgeous lavani dancer in the film. Now the news of shoot commencement just piqued the excitement for the Marathi film fans.
