Actor Chinmay Mandlekar is recently engaged in his upcoming project. The actor has shared some BTS posts from his shoot as he worked in the cold weather of Kashmir. The actor didn’t reveal anything about this project in his previous post. But recently, the actor revealed the upcoming project by sharing a photo with his co-actor and a legendary Indian actor Mithun Chakraborty, on his Insta handle.
The actor shared a lovely picture with Mithun Da and expressed his feelings about working with this living legend.
Expressing his feelings through the post, the actor wrote in his caption that he grew up watching Mithun Da while adoring him and copying his dance steps. And, that he feels lucky that he got a chance to work with this living legend. His sincere feelings are clearly visible in this picture as well.
Talking about their project, many of you might have guessed it to be a Marathi film. But unfortunately, it’s not! The film that these actors are work together is a Vivek Agnihotri directorial which goes by the name The Kashmir Files. The actor revealed this through his caption on this picture. The Kashmir Files is a factual retelling of events based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. The film aims to show the condition that the Kashmiri Pandits during their exodus in the 1990s. The film also includes renowned Bollywood actors like Anupam Kher and Puneet Issar in the main cast. The film is set to release in 2021, but the release date hasn’t been revealed yet.
Meanwhile, on the work front, actor-writer Chinmay Mandlekar is the writer of two famous Marathi TV series including Jeev and Chandra Aahe Sakshila. The actor is also set to meet fans with his upcoming Marathi Historic drama, Jangjohar.
