The industry knows Prasad Oak for being a perseverent skilled actor, director, and producer, but now Prasad Oak has proved that he is also a great father. In his recent post, Prasad Oak shares a picture with his son, where the two are munching on ‘bhutta’ (corn). Occasion? Prasad Oak’s son Mayank was celebrating his birthday with daddy dearest!

Prasad Oak’s post attracted likes and comments from colleagues in his industry like Subodh Bhave, Spruha Joshi, Siddharth Jadhav and fans across Instagram. Kranti Redkar commented on the post stating the coincidence that it was her daughter’s birthday just one day prior to Mayank’s!

Yes, actors have packed schedules and crazy workloads, but nothing comes in the way of celebrating some quality time with the family! Prasad Oak is one such actor. He always makes it a point to turn up for his son! Not very long ago, on Independence day, Prasad shared the moments from his son’s last band regime at school. A proud father that Prasad is, he woke up early in the morning and wore traditional clothes to attend the Independence day parade at Mayank’s school. Prasad is also a diligent husband and a great friend as advocated by his close friends!

On the work front, it was a successful year for Prasad Oak. ‘Smile Please’ directed by Madhur Bhandarkar was a huge success globally, Prasad was recognized for his convincing role as the husband of the leading lady. ‘Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2’ directed by Hemant Dhome was a huge commercial success with a great performance by Prasad as the fun and witty detective. His second directorial project after ‘Kaccha Limbu’ was his recent film ‘Hirkani’. With a great historical element, this film appealed to the masses. The female dominant film was also seen as one sending a great message across the audience about the strength of motherhood.
