Akshay Waghmare has recently released the first look of him from his upcoming film Fatteshikast directed by Digpal Lanjekar. The look came as surprise for his fans as they are not stopping praising the actor for his intense look.
Akshay took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “रानातल्या सिंहाला आन झुंजातल्या बांदलांना आडवं येत नसत्यात... दोगंबी येका फटक्यात कोथळा काहाडतात... शिवाजी महाराजांचं पोलादी चिलखत सरदार कोयाजी नाईक बांदल@akshayswaghmare #फत्तेशिकस्त १५ नोव्हेंबरला”
Speaking about his role in the film, Akshay said that the credit for my character goes to Digpal and his team. This role is something out of my comfort zone and something I had never attempted earlier.
Akshay will be essaying the role of Koyaji Bandal in his latest upcoming film. For this role he has to undergo many training right from sword to dialect pronunciations. The film is based during the time of Shivaji and they had a peculiar way of speaking.
The film stars Chinmay Mandlekar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Sameer Dharmadhikari and Ankit Mohan and Mrunmayee Deshpande in supporting roles. It is scheduled to be released on 15 November 2019.
Fatteshikast is depicts India's first historical surgical strike from the period of Shivaji. The principal photography began on 30 April 2019.
