Lead actor Chinmay Mandlekar has been sharing all the updates about his upcoming historical film 'Fatteshikast'. After raising the excitement in fans with the intriguing posters, Chinmay has now unveiled the look of actor Akshay Waghmare in the film. Akshay will be playing the role of Koyaji Bandal in the film. Koyaji Bandal was one of the brave soldiers from Shivaji's army.
'Fatteshikast’ will be a story of India’s first surgical strike on a foreign invader. The first look of the film reveals Chinmay Mandlekar in the lead role. His powerful look and aggressive stance looks battle-ready. This film is based on the valour and leadership founder of the Maratha empire, the great king Shivaji Maharaj. It is a tale of his extraordinary battle skills during the guerilla attack he executed on the Mughal emperor.
The film is directed by Maratha History enthusiast Digpal Lanjekar who has made a number of films on the history of Maharashtra. One of his best films was Farzand. ‘Farzand’ was made on a battle of Kondaji Farzand and his warriors set against Adil Shah to recapture the strategically important Panhala Fort. It aimed at unveiling the story of unsung war hero Kondaji Farzand and his patriotic spirit to the Maratha youth.
Fans are now excited to see the trailer of Fatteshikast film, that is set to recreate the history. The film is slated to release on the 15th of November this year.
