When Lord Ganesh came home, Marathi celebrities welcomed him with a lot of fanfare and now as he bids adieu, the M-town is sending him away with a belief that he will come back again next year. 

Stars are saying goodbye to their favorite Lord Ganesha with a heavy heart and nostalgia. The modaks, shrikhand, coconut rice, motichoor ladoo, payasam, and lots of love is offered to the elephant god!

Mumbai’s Ganeshotsav pandals too saw a lot of Marathi celebrities come together and celebrate this festival with fans.

Pushkar Jog sought blessings from Lalbaugcha Raja and Shri Siddhivinayak in Mumbai with wife Jasmine and daughter Felicia. The happy couple and their adorable daughter clicked pictures with and celebrated the day with devotion and enthusiasm!

The one picture that will melt your heart is of Bhushan Pradhan, this picture looks like a candid while Bhushan is adoring the idol of his Ganpati Bappa. The way he looks at Bappa is so full of devotion and love, it will make you say ‘Aww’!

Savaniee Ravindrra too bids adieu to Lord Ganesha with Zee24 Taas. She was a part of the ‘Sukhkarta’ segment where the visarjan was celebrated by the news channels on a live broadcast!

Deepali Sayyed, the dancer, actor and social worker, too says goodbye to Ganeshji with a heavy heart! She posted a picture with her Ganpati while she was approaching visarjan. Her post indeed makes you sad but it invokes a hope that we will meet Bappa soon in the next year!
